We are proud to have been the first to install Smart Flower in Australia. It had quite a global journey to get here. The founder is based in Boston, engineered and manufactured in Austria, and now we have four, that sit on our farm, powering our carving shed at the diary, our robotic feeding stations and will be taking our our soon to be open, boutique accommodation off grid.

We chose it because it is elegant, efficient, and it aligns with our values. What surprised us is how much curiosity it has created. People stop, take photos, ask questions, and want to know how it works. That curiosity has become one of our greatest opportunities. It creates natural conversations about what is possible in agriculture and how technology can support sustainable food production.

We know sustainability is a journey. We are not perfect. Though, we are committed to taking small steps that make a real difference. The Smart Flower pushed us to think more deeply about energy use, waste, animal health, and how to lighten our footprint while still producing high quality food and wine.

South Gippsland is a unique region. Our cattle are bred and raised entirely on grass which creates depth and flavour in our Red Akaushi Wagyu. The climate is also perfect for cool climate wine. It is a region that produces exceptional food and it is a great example of how environment and innovation can progress together.
